C17 Architecture Fit for C21 Living Wednesday 17 June 2009: 6.00pm – 7.45pm This exciting new tour demonstrates conservation and restoration work over the past 5 years, and work to facilitate C21 living for elderly residents.  The tour, limited to 20 people, is free but donations welcome. OPEN DAY - Saturday 27 June 2009: 10am – 3pm
A highlight of Guildford’s Summer Festival. Include C17 re-enactors, children’s activities, tours and other fun events.  The Common Hall will be laid up for a typical C17 meal. Delicious homemade refreshments from 11am – 2 pm. Just turn up on the day. £3 per person; £5 per family.  Under 16s free of charge. Money raised supports the work of the Hospital charity. HERITAGE DAY - Saturday 12 September 2009: 10am – 3pm
Abbot’s Hospital has participated in this national initiative for many years. Tour Guides will run free tours of the building at 20 minute intervals throughout the day.
